Joining the KC Ruck Club is Simple — Just Show Up!
There are no applications, no dues, and no fees to join the KC Ruck Club. Membership is as easy as showing up to one of our events, meeting the group, and having a great time. Come back again, and you’re one of us! It really is that simple.
We’re building a community that works for everyone — from the family that wants a relaxed once-a-month walk with the kids, to the dedicated fitness enthusiast looking for a real challenge. Whatever your pace, whatever your commitment level, there’s a place for you here. We’ll grow and evolve together as a group, adding more challenging events as our community grows and interest develops.
How to Get Started
Head over to our Upcoming Events page to find the next event near you. Pick one that fits your schedule, lace up your shoes, and come say hello. That’s it.
Most club events are completely free to attend. Occasionally we’ll offer special events that may have an optional cost associated — things like custom patches or club t-shirts. When that happens, we’ll always be upfront about what the cost is and exactly what it covers. You’ll never be surprised, and participation in those extras is always your choice.
One-Time Paperwork — Quick & Easy
Before participating in your first KC Ruck Club event, every member will need to complete a one-time liability waiver, photography release, and acknowledgment of our club rules. Parents and guardians will complete these forms on behalf of any minor children in their group. You’ll only need to do this once — not at every event — so once you’re squared away, you’re good to go for everything we do together.
